The counseling process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 will start on August 14, as per an MCC notice dated July 29.
Dr. B. Srinivas, Secretary of the National Medical Commission (NMC), mentioned that counseling registration is expected to begin in the first week of August.
Candidates should frequently visit the MCC website to stay informed about the latest updates and notices related to the counseling process.
Counseling will allocate around 110,000 MBBS seats across 710 medical colleges nationwide. Additionally, it will cover 21,000 BDS seats, as well as seats in Ayush and nursing programs.
The MCC will oversee the counseling process for several categories of seats:
- 15% of All India Quota seats
- 100% of seats in all AIIMS institutions
- JIPMER Pondicherry seats
- All central university seats
- 100% of deemed university seats
